Known as the “Porcelain Princess” in my house, I never really got the chance to work on my tan – that is until this summer.
I was fortunate enough to get a chance to vacation for a week at the Atlantis on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. However, with my limited knowledge of sunscreens, I was fried after the first day. I decided to ditch the tanning sunscreen that I thought my stark white skin would prefer and try out Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Lotion Sunscreen. This stuff saved my vacation!
Every morning I slathered the product all over, from my face to the tops of my feet. In the intense Bahamian sun, I could actually feel the sunscreen protecting me and hydrating my skin. It also smells amazing, with a light tropical fragrance to mask that typical “sunscreen” smell. I used the SPF 30 but they also have SPF 12 and even 50.
The sun protection was just what I needed. After day two I was losing the fire engine red sting and turning a light bronze color. The lotion aspect of the product was also non-greasy and kept my skin ultra soft all day long, even after being in the pool AND the sea! I was simply thrilled with this product.
After such success with the lotion sunscreen, I decided to try out the Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration After Sun Ultra Hydrating Lotion and Soothing Aloe Gel.
I loved it.
I put this product all over each night, which my sunburn certainly enjoyed. The redness went drastically down after the first night and I proceeded to look less Clifford the Big Red Dog and more sun-kissed bronze.
The after sun was non-greasy, yet I felt the moisture seeping into my skin leaving it incredibly smooth. It was exactly what you want from your after sun and more. It had the pain relief and cooling effect of aloe gel with the hydration of lotion. This product also smells amazing with a coconut papaya sent that I wish came in a perfume.
After a week of the sunscreen in the morning/after sun at night regimen my skin not only smelled incredible and looked very tan, but also was the softest my skin has ever been. If you are packing up for vacation anytime soon make sure you bring along these Hawaiian Tropic sun care products. Your skin will surly thank you.
